2026-11-02 · Documentation contract audit
Corrected the direct-payment checkout field to checkout_url, payment lookup by path reference, actual payment/event filters and raw hexadecimal webhook signatures.
Added complete endpoint schemas, success responses, error recovery, browser checkout, SDK callbacks, payment links, event reconciliation and shared provider-account routing.
Added generated OpenAPI, Postman, JSON reference and AI instruction templates. These documentation changes describe the implemented API; they do not introduce a new API version.
Recent platform changes
Provider accounts can now be dedicated or explicitly shared across projects within one organization/environment type. Switches affect future payments while historical payment/refund ownership remains.
Provider logos are managed in the staff console and returned in dashboard catalogue metadata. This does not add a credential-management route to the public payments API.
Staff invitations, custom staff permissions and admin themes are internal console capabilities. Merchant developers authenticate the public API with scoped project-environment keys, not staff sessions.
Compatibility policy
The public API uses the /api/v1 contract. Response fields may be added; clients should ignore unrecognized fields. Do not match on message wording, provider-specific redirect URLs or JSON property order. Branch on documented status/error/event values and retain unknown events safely for inspection.
